June 29, 2009

Ok, so here is another hi hat that was generated using a 2 oscillator synthesizer. Editing was accomplished in Audacity. It will go well in most electronica or rock.

Here’s one of the closed hi hats I promised. I’ve got at least one more to look forward to in the coming days. This would be great in most rock or rap.

Here is the latest in the hi hats. All were edited in Audacity. On this one, I started with pure noise and then EQ’d it and shaped the envelope.

Download this general purpose open hi hat for use in your studio. I did all of the trimming and clean up in Audacity, and this was created using a free VSTi.

A nice set of hi hats really keeps the tempo moving in most electronica and dance music. Here’s one you can use in your music production. It was created using a VSTi softsynth and then edited and cleaned up in Audacity.
