It has been awhile since we had a trance lead posted. This was created using Trance Gizmo and then modified heavily in Audacity.

Another sound you could use as a lead in a trance song. I also created this in Propellerheads Reason using Thor the Polysonic Synthesizer. Post clean up production was done using Audacity.

I’ve been a long time fan of glitch/idm style music. I think this sample would feel at home as a lead synth for an upcoming glitch, tech-house, or tech-step song.

I think the world could use a few more trance leads. I suggest detuning this and then layering it for an impressive textural quality to your dance floor fillers.

Here’s another noisey lead. I expect this one to take some creativity to use, but it could go well in some industrial, progressive rock, nu metal, electronica, perhaps some drum and bass. I made this one again using Angular Momentum’s Trance Gizmo. I used the compressor and Audacity to trim it.
Here is another free audio sample for use in your music production studio. This is a crazy, noisey lead that you could use as a lead in most electronica music. I created this in Phadiz and also edited in Audacity.
I thought this sound could work well as a twisted kind of special effect that may be able to crossover as a lead. I did the editing again using Audacity and the sound began in a VSTi, but I forgot which this time
