Here’s the 25th bass. I created this using Reason’s Maelstrom graintable synthesizer again. It is such a great diverse synthesizer that you can really come up with a very broad sound palette.

I did not make note of the settings on this one too much, but I can tell you the LFO rate was on high and I was messing with the VCF frequency. There we no post processing done.

Download this general purpose open hi hat for use in your studio. I did all of the trimming and clean up in Audacity, and this was created using a free VSTi.

I have been ripping it up creating these stabs using a 2oscillator VSTi in VSTHOST. Hip-hop is a lot of fun and forgiving of sounds, so again this stab works well here.
