I had fun with the wahwah, tremolo, and phaser plugins again. Layering and mixing those effects allows me to create some very alien sounds.

Here is a spacey stereophonic warbling alien strings sample. I slowed down a sample I had created using the String Synthesizer. I then mangled it in Audacity using the wah wah effect and some slight adjustment with the phaser effect. I also used invert and amplify at a couple of points in the process.

The fourth in my series of Trance leads. Again this was created using Reason’s Thor polysonic synthesizer and touched up using the open source software application called Audacity.

Reason has a lot to explore. I created this using the NN-19 Digital Sampler. It is another special effects style sound with an easily distinguishable LFO. This would be good to apply some more effects to, fiddle with the panning, and speed it up/stretch it out. It would work well in goa, psytrance, chill out, [...]

Playing around a little more with Phadiz, I created this. I used Audacity to flip out the wah-wah phonics. This would probably work better in some industrial or ambient track than a rock or hip-hop, but you’ve got a lot to work with for creativity on this one.
