I opened up Phadiz again tonight and worked out a couple more bass sounds. Both are rich with distinct nuances.

Here’s one of the closed hi hats I promised. I’ve got at least one more to look forward to in the coming days. This would be great in most rock or rap.

I thought I would create one more hip hop stab for you to download. I created this by using Audacity to layer the first 5 stabs I published. It created a great sound that I think I might use in an upcoming project.

This is the fifth for these hip hop stabs created usign a 2 oscillator VSTi synthesizer in VSTHOST. Be sure to grab the other four.

The second in the series of synth stabs. This again would lay well in a lot of hip hop. All of the audio editing was completed in Audacity. Again using a 2oscillator VSTi for synthesis and recorded using VSTHOST

A good stab can really make a great hip hop track. Having an interest in creating some hip hop rhythms, I used a two oscillator VSTi synthesizer to create a series of stabs to go along with slammin’ beats. Here’s the first in that series. Post processing was completed using Audacity.
