TXFM740 shared one of his audio tracks from his Juno 60 with me, and I liked so much I pulled this sample from it. It’s a crazy sound that’ll add some unique elements to a diverse range of music styles.

This one was cut from a longer session, but I let the instrument resonate a few times in the sample. I used the Audacity noise removal tool which changes the integrity of the original signal…

I didn’t take notes this time, but I do recall adjusting the LFO rate.

I did not make note of the settings on this one too much, but I can tell you the LFO rate was on high and I was messing with the VCF frequency. There we no post processing done.

I was hitting the next to lowest G note on the keyboard about 160 bpm; I slowed it down a bit in the last phrase. I cut this from a session that lasted about 8 minutes, but there was no other processing; this is the signal straight out of the Juno.

The post processing introduced a cricket like noise, but this should be fine for certain niche genres.

I was shifting the VCF fader around on this one, but the rest of the instrument stayed set with the following:
Low Frequency Oscillator:
rate = 1
delay = 0
Pulse Width Modulator:
set at 4
Voltage Controlled Filter:
frequency = 1.5 – 4
reverb = 0
Envelope:
attack = 3
decay = 6
sustain = 3.5
release = 6.5

This one starts out with a LFO/SUB-OS groove for a few seconds then I switch on the arpeggiator; I changed the stepping after a short bit. The instrument was set as follows:
Low Frequency Oscillator:
rate = 7
delay = 0
Pulse Width Modulator:
set at 3
Sub-OS
rate = 6
Voltage Controlled Filter:
frequency = 4
reverb = 0
Envelope:
attack = 4
decay = 3
sustain [...]

txfm740’s recent Juno sample gave me a good idea. I was able to pull out a segment, eq out the high end, slow it down, boost the bass, fade in the beginning for a short split second and fade out the end for a long tail in Audacity, and I came up with this really [...]

Pulse Width Modulator:
set at 5
Voltage Controlled Filter:
frequency = 1
reverb = 9
Envelope:
