I created this punchy bass using a freeware VSTi. It’s rich and more complicated than your average monophonic bass synthesizer. As usual, I edited it in Audacity and it’s shared using a Creative Commons license and free for use in your music studio.

This a nice floorkiller that’ll rumble and tear up the boards under your feet. Again made using a soft synth, a freeware VSTi.

Here’s another squelchy acid techno bass hit from the classic Roland TB-303. This cries for tweaking the cutoff and resonance and filtering it thru an LFO. Can anyone counter with a good 808 kick to knock it with?

This makes the third in the series for the Roland TB-303. This will make a good lead for a track with some acid techno elements. I’d like to hear what you come up with. This was also edited using Audacity.
